My partner of the last 10 years was just diagnosed with myelodysplasia syndrome. It is a pre-leukemia situation and it requires chemotherapy. We started last week, injections for 5 days, then three weeks off and repeat for 6 months. I am now a full time caregiver and it is a challenge for both of us. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. If I haven't answered your messages recently, this is why, our lives changed in the blink of an eye...joey

Thank you for your kind words. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for the elderly. The last portion of anyones life should be really great, but unfortunately with the huge list of diseases of the elderly (especially dementia), a lot of them are in situations that do not promote healthy, enjoyable daily journeys. My music, which I enjoy thoroughly, allows me to communicate with them on a personal and spiritually rewarding basis. I am thankful for my talent and will continue to do this as long as my hands work, which old arthritis is trying its best to get me down. Talk when you can...joey
